Buying Advice

Below is the text from one of our Consumer's Guides. You can also download the full brochure in Adobe PDF format. Or, click here to download our newest guide, Windows 101.

So, you’re thinking about replacing your windows?

We've found over the past several years that most homeowners don't know exactly what they should be looking for in a replacement window...which frame material, double-pane vs. triple-pane, low-E, insulating gases...it can get pretty confusing. And who do you trust?

One of the major factors in the day-to-day operations at Progressive Window Co. is doing whatever we can to make purchasing replacement windows easier and more pleasant for our clients.

That's why we wrote our "Consumer's Guide To Replacement Windows." It's not a sales brochure for our windows, it's simply a no-nonsense guide to some of the things homeowners should be looking for, or at least aware of, when shopping for windows. Please feel free to download a copy of it for yourself before you go window shopping.

To receive a paper copy of our newer, more comprehensive Windows 101 Consumers Guide, please give us a call or send us an email and we'll be more than happy to send one right out to you via the US Postal Service.

Don't Start Shopping Yet!

In our continuing effort to help educate homeowners about replacement windows, we Click for the guide...recently produced our newest, and probably most helpful educational brochure. Would you like to learn some of the "tricks of the trade"...things that you can expect to come across once you start inviting window salespeople into your home? Make sure you print a copy of our 12 Insider Tips to Purchasing Windows. This, along with the Consumer's Guides (above), will make you better prepared to go window shopping. It may even make your shopping experience more fun...especially when you know exactly what is going to come out of your salesperson's mouth before they even speak! They may even ask why you're smiling...let's keep it our little secret!

If you have any questions, or comments, please also feel free to send us an email at bputnam@progressivewindowco.com.
